Superior source of calcium For growing as well as geriatric animals For rickets, osteoporosis and osteomalacia For faster healing of fractures
• As a source of calcium in young as well as geriatric animals
• Rickets : Bone malformation caused by insufficient deposition of calcium & phosphorous
• Osteoporosis : Decrease in bone density
• Osteomalacia: Softening of bones
• For faster healing of fractures
• Strong bone and overall good health and growth in growing animals
• MCHC (Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite complex) : It is a compound derived from animal bone, which is comprised of calcium, magnesium, zinc, silica, manganese, and other trace minerals. MCHC has been shown to support bone health by acting as "bone food." MCHC contains proteins including collagen proteins and other ingredients that comprise the organic portion of bone. The bioavailability of calcium from MCHC is very good since it is contains all the minerals naturally occurring in healthy bone in the right proportions. It contains biologically active growth factors. Such growth factors are known to directly stimulate bone cell activity thereby enhancing bone formation. MCHC has been shown to be highly successful in minimizing bone loss as well as positively affecting bone healing. This includes reducing the incidence of fractures as well as facilitating the healing of fractures.
• Calcium : Essential for healthy growth and development of the skeletal system. Also required for blood coagulation, muscle contraction and nerve transmission. Prevents milk fever or eclampsia in lactating animals.
• Phosphorus : Along with calcium it forms an essential component of bones. It is required for digestion, excretion, protein synthesis, hormonal balance, energy synthesis, cell repair and many metabolic reactions.
